Alexey Skryabikov

Alexey Skryabikov · Sales Director Eastern Europe, Bosch · Budapest

I redesign how commercial organizations work — and I build the AI they adopt.

For more than 20 years I have led enterprise sales organizations across Europe and Asia. For the last two, I have also been building production AI systems with my own hands.

One person, both sides

Most transformation stalls in the gap between the people who understand the business and the people who can build. I have spent twenty years on the first side — and the last two closing that gap in myself.

Leading commercial organizations

  • Channel strategy for Eastern Europe across regional and key accounts — EUR 200M+ in sales.
  • A team of 22 direct reports.
  • A CRM roll-out across 10 Eastern European countries, designed around value for the salespeople. The field force rated its support for the roll-out 4 out of 5.
  • The relaunch of terms and conditions across Eastern Europe — discounts, rebates, payment terms and expected contribution — as part of a global redesign.
  • Sales forecasting in every leadership role I have held.

Building the systems they run on

  • Inside Bosch: AI workflows in Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Power Platform. I am the AI ambassador in my organization, moving routine work to automation.
  • On my own: an independent AI engineering project — multi-provider LLM routing, retrieval over a vector database, a web app, a Telegram interface and an iOS build.

I can personally build what I ask a sales organization to adopt.

Selected work

What changed, and what it took

Built in Microsoft Copilot Studio · Bosch · Eastern Europe

A dealer study that ran itself — in 10 countries and 10 languages

One central study, personalized for every dealer and linked to what that dealer actually buys. Three open questions, answered in free text. I built the whole flow myself. Select a step to see what it does.

Understanding the answers

Getting the answers

Every dealer answers three open questions in their own language — ten languages across ten countries.

A 50% response rate, and the evidence base for a new channel strategy.

Turning the most conservative department into a customer-first one

After-sales for emerging markets — Asia outside Japan, Korea, Australia and New Zealand, plus Eastern Europe, Africa and Latin America. More than 200 people across four regions, a different service model in every market.

I started with purpose: the service moment is where a customer is won back or lost. NPS became the department's main KPI, measured systematically for the first time. I started building the monthly online dashboards myself, then handed the technical build to an internal service, so every country could see where it stood and what it was doing about it.

An NPS of 75 — an exceptional level for a service organization — reached in 1.5 years instead of the planned three.

Cutting time to market from months to weeks

My own project: every salesperson tracks new product launches from day one.

Time to market down from 6–9 months to 1–2 months. New products now reach around 80% of distribution, against 20–30% before.

Pilot · Bosch · Eastern Europe

Dealer-tailored offers, every week

A flow I built that finds the top-selling products in a dealer's country that the dealer is not yet buying, applies the marketing policy automatically, and checks the live promotion plan to avoid double bonuses. A person reviews every offer before it goes out.

Live in pilot. We are still tuning what converts best.

Building a selected dealer network

The target was a strong network of 200 selected dealers, with more shelf space at the point of sale.

More than 300 dealers signed, and the shelf-space target exceeded as well.

Pricing through a currency crisis

During the exchange-rate swings of December 2014 and all of 2015 I set up a fast price-adaptation process and changed prices almost every second month — something that had not been possible before.

We outperformed the market by 2.5 percentage points of market-share growth.

Designed and built end to end, on my own

An independent AI engineering project

Built by one person who is not a professional developer — and run the way a production system should be.

  • Models from three providers — Google, Anthropic, OpenAI — chosen per task on the evidence of a documented comparison.
  • Retrieval-augmented generation over a Qdrant vector database with seven collections.
  • 76 n8n workflows, generated from 23 Python scripts instead of hand-edited.
  • PostgreSQL — 33 tables, 30 migrations.
  • Prompts as versioned infrastructure — kept as files, synced to a registry, checked before every push.
  • LLM-as-judge evaluation — five synthetic personas walk each changed flow; a separate judge model scores the transcripts against a fixed rubric.
  • 62 architecture decision records, and GDPR erasure that reaches into the vector store.
  • Web, Telegram and iOS — Next.js, a Telegram interface, and an iOS build running on device through TestFlight, built on CI from Windows without a Mac.

How I lead

What my team says

From my most recent Leadership 360° feedback — 41 colleagues, team members and my manager.

  • I keep my commitments. The one result every member of my team scored at the top.
  • I talk to everyone, at every level.Openness was the most repeated theme in the written comments.
  • I execute.Decisive delivery against targets was questioned by no one.
  • My team rated me higher than any other group did.Direct reports are the hardest audience in a 360.

How I build

Rules I work by

  • Red before green.A test only counts if I have first seen it fail.
  • Read the live system before blaming the code.In one run, three of four "failures" were stale test data, not faults.
  • A person checks anything that reaches a customer.Automation prepares; people decide.
  • Build what you ask others to adopt. It is the fastest way to find out whether it works.
